Welcome to 702.design, a place where expert witnesses can find tailor-made website solutions that resonate with their unique needs and professional backgrounds. I’m John Apostolo, founder and designer.
My personal experience with my father, a practicing doctor, and part-time expert witness, led me to start this firm. His frustration with a web designer that didn't understand his needs inspired me to create something better.
He knew that his expert witness needed a website to compete with other docs. Surveyed attorneys responded that expert witnesses with websites were more “trustworthy, professional, and serious” than those without. Among listings on JurisPro and other witness websites, (ALM, Experts.com, SEAK), 81% of listings have a website.
However, it was just too complicated, time-consuming, and expensive to work with a traditional design firm. There had to be a better way.
Being a college student passionate about design, I saw a need for websites that were not just functional but tailored specifically for professionals like my dad, who are too busy with their primary jobs to fuss over complicated website details. That's where I stepped in, and 702.design was born.

Built on Squarespace: I build exclusively on Squarespace, a flexible consumer platform. This allows me to transfer your website to you when I’m done, meaning you own the asset. You can make any changes yourself without needing any specialized knowledge or paying me a recurring fee (Only pay Squarespace approximately $150 a year - and I’ll get you a discount :).
Exclusive Warranty and Updates: I'm proud to offer something very rare in the industry: a 1-year unlimited warranty and 1-year of free unlimited site updates. I stand by my work, and I'm here to support you.
