My Process
Building a new website is surprisingly hard, but I’ve honed the process to be as simple and convenient as possible for my clients.
Let’s get into the details
My build process is split into 3 (Discovery, Revision, Launch) parts, each involving a Zoom meeting. During that meeting, we’ll go over the steps of the current stage, and I’ll show you the information I’ve gathered and written for your review. Don’t worry; all materials (including your unpublished site draft) will be available before and after our meetings through our client portal, so you can always double-check or peruse materials with more time, but you don’t have to sit on the phone with me to do so.
Also, I know that most expert witnesses have day jobs, so I offer extensive evening and weekend hours. I’ve spent the last two years perfecting this process and have it down to a science. Please review the timeline below and contact me to get started.
Discovery
We’ll have a brief Zoom/Phone Call and I’ll explain all your options. When you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over a contract, give you access to your secure client portal, and find you a build slot - because I only work with one client at a time, I maintain a waitlist, which ranges from a few weeks to once over 6 months. I’ll also send you an interactive onboarding form, which I’ll help complete if you’d like.
Build Slot
I will get started on your site! You can follow my progress using the client portal or wait until the end of the week for the finished draft to be ready for your review.
I’ll select a great font, colors, stock photos, and photos of you to accompany your documentation and literature. We can always change these later, but it’s good to have a starting point before editing.
You may have as much or as little editorial input as you’d like; I love to hear your feedback! Do you have 100 other things on your plate? I specialize in “just take care of it.”

Before we start, we’ll discuss the project, what information you would like on the website, and the general feel of the site.
Polish and Launch
I’ll implement your feedback and then prepare to launch. Included in your contract are up to 3 more revision rounds, but most clients don’t end up needing them.
I’ll help you select a great domain, implement SEO (search engine optimization) best practices, and show you the magic green “launch” button.
Your site includes one full year of site updates and a one-year unlimited warranty. That means if you want to make any changes to existing content or if anything goes wrong, I take care of it. No questions asked.
